Location
  Easy Paved Access -
Bay Point has paved access right to the gate entrance. It can be easily reached from the Bismarck, Minot, and Dickinson areas and is located just off Highway 200.
Bay Point is situated on a 200+ acre peninsula. Surrounded on three sides by a multitude of remote deep-water protected bays. Bay Point is mere minutes from the best walleye, northern, and salmon fishing areas in the country.
Bay Point's interior is adorned with mature ponderosa pine, Colorado blue spruce, and native ash and is home to many deer, pheasants, geese, other wildlife. This spacious peninsula provides several remote picnic areas.

Deep Water

Bay Point has naturally deep-water bays that provide for safe navigation and docking even during the lowest lake level years. Lake Sakakawea's "big water" is easily accessed and just minutes away.

Protected from weather

Docking and beaching areas are protected from wind and wave action by many smaller protected bays, natural points, and hidden coves.

Secure gated entrance

A single gated entrance and exit to the Bay Point peninsula enhances and simplifies security. The facility is monitored day and night to provide a large degree of comfort to our customers.

Nearby services
Bay Point is located a stones throw from the State Park Marina, which provides for waterside fuel service and convenience items. Marine maintenance and repair is readily available locally.
